In the countryside between Rimini and Urbino there is a small number of expatriates who moved
from Germany to Italy between the ’80s and ’90s and built here a new life based on art and nature.
Each of them has different stories, yet beyond the German origin they have in common the research
for direct contact with nature and a contemplative dimension, the life in the open space to experience
pure colour and light, in harmony with the rhythms and living forms that surround them.
They are strong women, with a marked practical sense, but at the same time they possess
a delicate sensitivity and a great ability to listen to the magic of small things
